Quality Assurance
The Quality of your product as presented to
your customer, be it at the wholesale or retail level, is of
supreme importance to the continued success of your
business.
At ShoeTemp Associates, our consultants
are experienced in establishing and maintaining the quality
levels that are required.

What is Quality Assurance?
Quality Assurance is making certain that a
quality product is being produced for shipment to your
customer.

The ShoeTEmp Associates approach
Our approach to Quality Assurance is
pretty well summed up in an advertising slogan that was used
by the American consumer electronics producer Zenith a few
decades back, that stated simply "The Quality Goes in Before
the Name Goes On."
At ShoeTemp Associates, we believe that
the only way to accomplish this is to make certain the
product is correct at all levels leading up to the Final
Inspection and shipment. While we prefer to start the
Quality Assurance process at the Sample/Development stage,
we can tailor a quality assurance program to fit your
specific needs.
As this may require putting in systems
that are currently not being used by your company, we offer
the full QA package outlined above, and a more general
approach, accomplished by inspector training only.

Advantages to the Manufacturer
Inspector Training
If you're a manufacturer, the advantage of
using inspector training allows for immediate results in
increasing the quality level of product presented for final
inspections. The disadvantage is that if something is
missed during the Sample/Development stage, it will have an
effect on production. Quite often these problems will
result in "running changes" needed during the production of
a product, production problems, delays in shipping, or
repairs needed on arrival of a shipment.
The Full Quality Assurance
Package
The full Quality Assurance Package offers
advantages to both the customer and the producer, in that it
starts at the initial sampling stage and follows the product
through shipment. This package includes the Inspector
Training Program, as well as advice on materials and
technical issues on a sample being considered for
production, assistance during commercialization stage,
assistance on material and product testing, AQL inspection
for both in-process and final inspection, and other items.
Basically this allows both the manufacturer and the customer
to have the confidence of knowing "what's in the box, before
it's opened."
This is a complete package, but it is
broken down into modules, so (as above) it can be tailored
to your needs and requirements.

Advantage to the Customer
As a customer, placing orders with a
factory that has any level or our Quality Assurance methods
(Inspector Training or any part of the full Quality
Assurance Package) will improve the quality level of the
product you're shipping to your customer.
The full Quality Assurance Package
encourages a better customer/producer relationship, and more
customer involvement in the early stages of a products life.
